Electronic Pressure Sensor (Resistive)

Reliable resistive pressure sensors with optional switch outputs for accurate pressure monitoring and dependable engine protection across automotive and industrial applications.

Electronic Pressure Sensor (Resistive)
Overview

Overview of the Electronic Pressure Sensor (Resistive)

Piezoresistive MEMS sensing turns applied pressure into an electrical signal. On-board temperature compensation and ASIC conditioning keep the output linear and stable. The package is small, current draw is low, and sealing is specified for harsh vehicle and plant environments. Gauge sensors read pressure relative to atmosphere. An absolute pressure sensor reads relative to a sealed vacuum reference.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Electronic pressure sensors from Indication Instruments (Veethree) are piezoresistive MEMS transducers that output a temperature-compensated voltage signal.

A gauge pressure sensor reads versus atmosphere. An absolute pressure sensor reads versus a sealed vacuum reference.

Gauge ranges include 0-30 psi to 0-250 psi, with options to 400 psi / 28 bar. Accuracy is ±2% of full scale.

Ratiometric 0.5-4.5 VDC and 1.0-5.0 VDC, Packard Metri-Pack 150 3-pole connector.
