Overview of the C3il-3.5″ low Profile Reduced I/O Digital Display

The C3il digital display is the low-profile, reduced-I/O member of the 3.5-inch C Series. It gives reliable colour instrumentation in a small footprint, with a flatter bezel and larger tactile buttons than the standard C3. The QVGA rugged colour display stays readable in strong sun. Alarms, data logging, and monitoring functions sit on a Freescale i.MX286 processor running Linux. Screens and logic are built with Veethree’s SDK, or Indication Instruments can supply application software. Selected part numbers ship with engine-monitor software preloaded.

The C3il digital display is a 3.5-inch LP display from Indication Instruments (Veethree C Series). It is a compact CANbus display with reduced I/O, a low profile LCD display housing, and a sunlight readable QVGA colour screen for tight industrial and marine panels.

LP means low profile. The C3il uses a flatter bezel and larger front buttons than the standard C3, so it sits cleaner in compact dashboards.

A 3.5-inch a-Si TFT, 320 × 240 QVGA, 750 NIT. That combination is a sunlight readable display in a small rugged colour display format.

C3 and C3l are full-I/O 3.5-inch units (typically dual CAN and analogue/relay packs). The C3il is the low profile LCD display with reduced I/O: single CAN, USB, RS232.Is the C3il sunlight readable?

Yes. Freescale i.MX286, Linux, and the Veethree SDK support custom graphics, alarms, logging, and control. Engine-monitor software can be preloaded.
