Capacitive Self Calibrating Fuel Level Sensor

Capacitive self-calibrating fuel level sensor with high accuracy, temperature compensation, and multi-fuel compatibility

Capacitive Self Calibrating Fuel Level Sensor
Overview

Overview of the Capacitive Self Calibrating Fuel Level Sensor

Capacitive fuel sensors read liquid height continuously. When the fuel dielectric changes (different fuel blend or type), self-calibrating fuel sensors compensate so the output stays usable. No float or wipe arm means less wear and less slosh-induced bounce. Temperature compensation and electrical protection are specified for vehicle and equipment duty.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Capacitive fuel level sensors from Indication Instruments (Veethree) measure tank level from capacitance change on a twin probe. They have no moving float in the column.

They compensate when the fuel dielectric constant changes, so accuracy is less dependent on a single fuel type.

Analog (voltage or resistance) and CAN J1939 for ECU or telematics.

Custom lengths up to 600 mm.

IP69K, -40°C to +85°C, with reverse-polarity, over-voltage, and short-circuit protection.
