Overview of Mechanical Gauge

Mechanical gauges have been used for a very long time for monitoring engine parameters. They don’t need power to operate, and are very simple in operation ( though sometimes complex in design and difficult to assemble) as they don’t require any complicated connections or interface with any sensors.

The dial readout makes them very easy to read, and aesthetically their styling is beautiful and timeless. One of their biggest advantages is their serviceability; in the rare chance that a gauge fails, it is inexpensive to replace it as compared to the cost of replacing a modern day instrument cluster.
